Forks
My pet peeve is when people put the palms of their hands on the prongs of forks before/after they eat. It makes me wonder where people's hands have been and how they are about to consume the dirt on their hands.
Oh my goodness. I have never thought of this, but it is immediately a new pet peeve. Stair-rails, door handles, ATM machines, yuck. On a similar note, I had someone once cough in her hand then offer me a handshake. I was repulsed.
